North Miami man is accused of stealing an ex-girlfriend's backpack and sharing sexually explicit videos of her

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. — A North Miami man was arrested Thursday, just days after he robbed his ex-girlfriend and then shared sexually explicit videos of her to her friends, authorities said.

According to an arrest report from the North Miami Police Department, 26-year-old Anthony Marc Toussaint followed the victim into a Little Caesars Pizza on Biscayne Boulevard around 11:15 a.m. Monday, whereupon an argument ensued.

Police said Toussaint eventually snatched the victim's backpack and fled the area in his 2017 Ford Fusion.

According to the report, the victim's iPad, valued at $500, was in the backpack and contained all of her contacts while she used the iPad to communicate with friends.

Police said while the victim was checking her iPad location and activity through her laptop, she discovered that Toussaint had begun sharing sexually explicit videos of her with her contacts.

She then called one of her contacts, who confirmed that they had received a sex video from her iPad, authorities said.

According to the arrest report, Toussaint was arrested around noon Thursday and “admitted something,” although his exact statement was redacted from the publicly released report.

Toussaint is charged with violent robbery and online sexual harassment.

According to police, he and the victim had been in a romantic relationship for about 16 months, which the victim ended about six weeks ago.

As of Friday afternoon, Toussaint remained at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
