Police arrest suspect in vandalism incident at Columbus Park cafe

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Police arrested a suspected vandal Wednesday who damaged a popular coffee shop in the Columbus Park neighborhood.

Kansas City, Missouri, police credited the assistance of another law enforcement agency in apprehending the suspect.

Surveillance camera video showed the suspect throwing an object multiple times at Café Cà Phê, 916 E. 5th St.

Police went there around 7:40 a.m. but did not find any suspects.

No charges were filed.
