Israel delays retaliatory strike against Iran after American intelligence revelations

Israel has postponed its retaliatory strike against Iran following leaks of potentially sensitive military information from the US last week.

The leak revealed Israel's advanced plans to respond to a salvo of nearly 200 Iranian ballistic missiles fired against the country earlier this month. This was Tehran's retaliation for Israel's attacks on its proxy groups in the Middle East.

The top-secret document was posted on a pro-Iranian Telegram channel last Friday and appeared to be a U.S. assessment of Israel's likely response based on satellite images and other intelligence information.

It referred to Golden Horizon and Rocks, two Israeli air-launched ballistic missiles.
