Viral Heckler's Troll & Roast Idaho Steelhead Players (VIDEO)

One of the best aspects of sporting events is, without question, the competitive fire that the athletes bring to the game. We're talking about that fiery, spicy competition that makes the arena or stadium feel like a gunpowder keg.

All it takes is a single spark… and explosive action can ensue.

There's nothing better than a hockey game

First of all, if you've never been to an Idaho Steelheads game or a hockey game, stop what you're doing and start planning now.

Ice hockey, in particular, is one of the most unique sporting events you can attend and ice hockey has everything your heart desires. It's like they've combined all the elements that make other sports great into one big snowball.

Aside from things like NASCAR, athletes in hockey move at speeds not possible in other competitive sports. Then there is the goal of scoring a goal.

Then you have some of our favorite parts about hockey, the cream of the Oreo if you will: the fights.

Let's be clear: no one wants to see anyone seriously injured or harmed. That being said, who doesn't love a good hockey fight? The best thing about a hockey fight is How You get to this point.

One of the main reasons these guys get involved with each other is because of the trash talk. This can come from others on the ice or… from people in the stands.

Things got explosive between the Steelheads and the Tahoe Knight Monsters

About a week ago our Idaho Steelheads were playing the Tahoe Knight Monsters and some “internet celebrities” were sitting in the building next to the Idaho players penalty box.

A group of friends, led by the internet personality, harassed the Steelheads players in the penalty box seemingly all night long.

The things they said were pretty harmless overall, ending with the group of friends screaming in unison, “YOU BUM!”

We have to admit that some of the jokes were pretty funny (and random) and the Steelheads seemed to capitalize on them, even going so far as to take out some of the opposing players' frustrations.

The Steelheads ultimately lost the game 4-2.
