Woman and man arrested in crack cocaine raid in Stratford

STRATFORD, CT (WFSB) – A woman and a man were arrested in a drug raid in Stratford on Wednesday.

Stratford police identified the suspects as Brandi Lee Chiero and Gregory Shawn Thompson.

According to police, they were conducting surveillance on Honeyspot Road in the area of ​​the Honeyspot Motel when they discovered a drug transaction.

The transaction took place between a female pedestrian and a man in a green Honda, investigators said.

After the purchase, investigators said they arrested the woman and conducted a motor vehicle stop on the green Honda several blocks away.

Both suspects were arrested.

Chiero was transported to headquarters and charged with illegal possession of crack cocaine, tampering with evidence and violating conditions of release.

Her court date was set for November 4th and she was held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Thompson was transported to headquarters and charged with illegal sale of crack cocaine, criminal possession of ammunition, illegal possession of a high capacity magazine, violation of a protection order, misuse of a license plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

His court date was scheduled for Thursday. He was being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.
