'Arcane' Season 2 Coming to Netflix: When to Watch Part 1

When Arcane returns to Netflix, booze, destruction and devastating consequences are in store.

The animated series based on the League of Legends video games has been praised for its visual style and storytelling, which revolves around sisters Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell) and the turbulent conflict between the residents of Zaun and Piltover. In Season 1, the girls were introduced as young orphans taken in by Vander, a leader in the underserved town of Zaun.

As teenagers, they become involved in a robbery in which Jinx – also known as Powder – steals magical Hextech crystals from Piltover. It is a moment linked to a series of unfortunate events involving manipulation, crime, betrayal and death. In an environment that values magic and pits two class systems against each other, the relationship between the two sisters is put to the test. War seems imminent. Arcane season 2 will conclude its story arc and deal with the cliffhanger that left Piltover in ruins.
