An Illinois man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in northwest Atlanta, police said

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in June at a northwest Atlanta apartment complex has been arrested in Illinois, according to Atlanta police.

Police said 23-year-old Kevin Fox was arrested Friday in DeKalb, Illinois. DeKalb is about 60 miles outside of Chicago.

Fox is accused of being involved in the death of 21-year-old Jacquez Harris. Harris was found shot to death at the Reserve at Hollywood apartment complex in northwest Atlanta around 11 p.m. on June 3.

Harris' shooting is just one of three shootings that have occurred at the complex this year.

Fox was reportedly arrested on charges unrelated to Harris' death. He is currently awaiting extradition to Atlanta.
