FIRST ROUND

DEPARTMENT 1

Final: Sierra Canyon 38, Servite 14

Sierra Canyon senior running back Dane Dunn had three touchdowns. Sierra Canyon senior quarterback Wyatt Becker (Utah commit) also played well. No. 8 Sierra Canyon will play No. 1 Mater Dei in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals on Nov. 15.

Final: Santa Margarita 59, Inglewood 26

Santa Margarita quarterback John Gazzaniga had a big game against Inglewood. No. 7 Santa Margarita will play No. 2 St. John Bosco in the Division 1 quarterfinals on Nov. 15.

DEPARTMENT 2

Final: Murrieta Valley 49, Rancho Cucamonga 42

Murrieta Valley senior running back Dorian Hoze had five rushing touchdowns, including a game-winning score with 10.5 seconds left. Murrieta Valley senior quarterback Bear Bachmeier (Stanford commit) also played well. Murrieta Valley is the No. 1 seed in the Division 2 playoffs.

Final: Los Alamitos 36, Leuzinger 22

Los Alamitos junior running back Jerod Terry Jr. had two early rushing touchdowns. The Griffins host No. 1 seed Murrieta Valley in the Division 2 quarterfinals.

Final: Serra 28, Downey 7

Serra's defense bent but didn't collapse. Serra senior quarterback Jimmy Butler led the Cavs' offense. Downey junior quarterback Oscar Rios ran a trick play for the Vikings' only touchdown just before halftime.

Final: Yorba Linda 42, Chaparral 32

Yorba Linda hosts Serra in the Division 2 quarterfinals.

Final: San Clemente 42, Damien 7

San Clemente's dual quarterback system with Jack Ferguson and Dawson Martinez caused problems for Damien's defense. San Clemente's defense was dominant without senior linebacker Matai Tagoa'i (USC commit), who didn't play against Damien.

DEPARTMENT 3

Final: Simi Valley 49, Notre Dame 47

Simi Valley senior Brice Hawkins had five touchdowns, including the game-winner in the fourth quarter. No. 1 seed Simi Valley held off No. 16 seed Notre Dame.

Final: La Habra 27, Mira Costa 24

La Habra survived to reach the Division 3 quarterfinals against No. 1 seed Simi Valley. The Highlanders scored three of their four touchdowns on fourth down play.

Final: Crean Lutheran 20, Millikan 17

After a controversial fumble call on a play that was a lateral pass rather than a forward pass, Crean Lutheran senior kicker Connor Stephens scored the game-winning field goal with seven seconds left. Millikan suffers a heartbreaking loss in the first round of the Division 3 playoffs for the second straight season.

Final: Bonita 35, Cathedral 20

Bonita improved to 11-0 and will host Edison in the Division 3 quarterfinals.

Final: Cajon 52, Chino Hills 22

Cajon's passing game made the difference early on against Chino Hills.

DEPARTMENT 4

Final: Redondo 7, Aquinas 6

Redondo junior quarterback Cole Leinart (SMU commit) led his team to a hard-fought victory.

Final: Apple Valley 35, Charter Oak 6

Apple Valley hosts Culver City in the Division 4 quarterfinals.

Final: Culver City 38, Capistrano Valley 35

Culver City senior quarterback Seth Shigg (Army commit) had five total touchdowns and more than 500 yards of total offense.

Final: Long Beach Poly 28, Northview 19

Long Beach Poly running back Benjamin Harris had 132 yards and two touchdowns. Poly scored 22 unanswered points to take control of the game. The last time Poly was in the Division 4 playoffs, they won the program's 20th CIF-SS title in 2021. Northview finished the season with a 10-1 record. Poly will play Pacifica in the Division 4 quarterfinals.

Final: Thousand Oaks 14, St. Paul 10

St. Paul was stopped about four yards from the end zone on the final play. Thousand Oaks' Jackson Taylor threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Carson Lewis to make the lead 14-10 in the third quarter. Thousand Oaks hosts El Modena in the Division 4 quarterfinals.

DEPARTMENT 5

Final: Huntington Beach 56, Western 39

Huntington Beach wins a shootout against Western behind the strong play of five-star sophomore quarterback Brady Edmunds. Huntington Beach is the No. 1 seed in the Division 5 playoffs.

Final: Summit 37, Torrance 7

Summit now has an eight-game winning streak heading into the Division 5 quarterfinals against No. 1 seed Huntington Beach.

Final: La Serna 28, Troy 7

La Serna quarterback Grady Long played well and helped the Lancers advance to the Division 5 quarterfinals.

Final: Lakewood 50, Valencia 26

Lakewood junior quarterback Kade Casillas scored three total touchdowns. The Lancers will play at Foothill in the Division 5 quarterfinals.

Final: Mayfair 37, Trabuco Hills 30

Mayfair's defense made a huge 4th down stop to seal the victory. Mayfair senior quarterback Jeremiah Calvin threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Monsoons coach Derek Bedell said his defense came up big. Mayfair will play Palos Verdes in the Division 5 quarterfinals.

Final: Palos Verdes 16, Brea Olinda 10 OT

Palos Verdes' Weston Reis had the game-winning sack in overtime. Palos Verdes quarterback Ryan Rakowski threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Evan Aguirre for a 16-10 lead in overtime. Palos Verdes hosts Mayfair in the Division 5 quarterfinals.

DEPARTMENT 6

Final: Muir 22, Schurr 19

Muir survives and advances to the Division 6 playoffs as the No. 1 seed.

Final: St. Francis 50, Calabasas 22

St. Francis' defense made big plays against Calabasas. St. Francis hosts Muir in the quarterfinals of the Division 6 playoffs.

Final: Northwood 34, Ayala 20

The Northwood defense caused havoc against Ayala.

Final: Murrieta Mesa 42, Ontario Christian 0

Murrieta Mesa led 28-0 at halftime.

Final: Rancho Verde 47, Hart 34

Rancho Verde has won six of its last seven games.

DEPARTMENT 7

Final: West Torrance 24, West Valley 20

No. 1 seed West Torrance will play in the Division 7 quarterfinals at Oak Park. It was the program's first playoff win since 2014.

Final: King 24, Vista Del Lago 0

King improved to 8-3 overall.

Final: Warren 35, Palm Desert 7

Warren improved to 4-7 overall.

Final: Peninsula 17, Citrus Valley 14

No. 15 seed Peninsula upset No. 2 seed Citrus Valley to advance to the Division 7 quarterfinals.

DEPARTMENT 9

Final: Wilson 42, Victor Valley 13

Wilson senior running back Deuce Weston had three touchdowns. This was Wilson's first playoff win since 2019.

DEPARTMENT 10

Final: St. Anthony 31, South Hills 14

St. Anthony running back Jasiah Lolesio-Pua had 166 rushing yards and two touchdowns. No. 1 seed St. Anthony will play at Shadow Hills in the Division 10 quarterfinals.

Final: Pacifica 7, La Canada 3

Pacifica won this defensive battle.

Final: Valley View 35, Moreno Valley 3

Valley View led 28-0 in the second quarter. Valley View hosts South Pasadena in the Division 10 quarterfinals.

DEPARTMENT 12

Final: Canyon Springs 41, Banning 20

Canyon Springs hosts Carter in the Division 12 quarterfinals.

Final: North Hollywood 36, Granada Hills 30

North Hollywood improved to 11-0 overall.
