Twitch streamer Zepla stops streaming after her mother's sudden death

Twitch streamer and YouTuber Zepla, known for her popular Final Fantasy XIV content, announced via X (formerly Twitter) on Friday that she has canceled all upcoming streams following the sudden death of her mother.

In an emotional message, Zepla wrote: “My mother was unresponsive this morning, no pulse… the paramedics just left. “They couldn't save her. So… no streams until further notice.” She later expressed her shock and sadness, explaining: “I'm in shock, I'm cold all over my body. I don’t know what to say.”

Moments later, Zepla attributed her mother's death to alcohol in a heartbreaking post.

Zepla, also known as Xepla online, has over 260,000 followers on Twitch and more than 300,000 subscribers on YouTube. She initially gained popularity by sharing guides, background discussions, and content related to Final Fantasy XIV, including tutorials and song covers. Her channel also features commentary on games like World of Warcraft and NieR: Automata, as well as vlogs about her experiences after fleeing Ukraine due to the Russian invasion.
