The Alabama Crimson Tide travel to Baton Rouge this weekend for their annual showdown with the LSU Tigers.

There's a lot at stake for both teams, as it is almost every year when the Crimson Tide and Tigers meet in November. Both LSU (No. 13, US LBM Coaches Poll) and Alabama (No. 11) are 6-2, and a third loss would almost certainly doom the losing team's hopes of making the College Football Playoff with 12 teams mean.

On Thursday, Fox Sports analyst and broadcaster Joel Klatt gave his thoughts on the Alabama vs. LSU game heading into the weekend and gave a result prediction. Klatt predicted last week that Jalen Milroe would lead the Crimson Tide to a win at Tiger Stadium, and he stuck by that prediction this week.

Klatt went into more detail about his prediction in his podcast: The Joel Klatt Show: A College Football Podcast:

Kickoff for Alabama-LSU is scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game can be seen on ABC. The network's lead broadcast team of Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will broadcast the game for ABC.
