Where can you watch the races live?

With the presidential election called Wednesday morning, Americans await the final results of the U.S. House of Representatives races.

All 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives were up for election this year, and as of Saturday morning neither party had taken control. The Democrats lost 200 seats and the Republicans lost 211. To take control of the House of Representatives, 218 seats are required.

Early Wednesday morning, Americans learned that former President Donald Trump had been elected to a second term, a victory over Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump will take office on Monday, January 20, 2025. Republicans have also won the majority in the Senate.

Which races are not yet advertised?

As of Friday evening, important results are still required from the following states:

  • Alaska (District 1)
  • Arizona (Districts 1, 2, 4 and 6)
  • California (Districts 9, 13, 21, 22, 27, 39, 41, 45, 47 and 49)
  • Colorado (District 8)
  • Iowa (District 1)
  • Louisiana (District 6)
  • Maine (District 2)
  • Maryland (District 6)
  • Ohio (District 9)
  • Oregon (District 5)
  • Washington (Districts 3 and 4)
