Man killed after bar fight with daughter's boyfriend, alleged shooting escalates

SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after an argument at a local bar with his daughter's boyfriend led to a suspected shooting.

The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. Saturday near Loop 1604 and Blanco.

According to San Antonio police, a woman, her boyfriend and her father were at the bar when the father and boyfriend began arguing.

The woman and her father were walking to a nearby Taco Palenque when the friend allegedly drove by to continue the argument, shooting the man.

He was pronounced dead and the suspect fled the scene.
