After being taunted by Jones, the American played Prograis voice notes he had received from Jones in which he stated that he would beat Catterall.

After initially claiming that Regis Prograis was lying about the news, Sam Jones quickly backtracked and said the comments were made years ago.

This appears to be the case and was not questioned by Prograis.
