After the election victory, a robot dog patrols Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate

Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate has undergone significant security upgrades following his recent victory over Kamala Harris in the US election. A viral video shows a robot dog patrolling the property, showcasing the enhanced security measures.

The video shows the robot dog, which is reportedly equipped with advanced surveillance technology, patrolling the grounds of Mar-a-Lago. The dog, made by Boston Dynamics, has a large warning sign that says “Do Not Pet.”

“Donald Trump has reportedly beefed up his security at Mar-a-Lago with the addition of a robot dog to patrol the property,” wrote X user Collin Rugg. The robot dog is equipped with “surveillance technology,” Rugg added, pointing to information from Reuters that the dog was seen outside Trump's home after his historic election victory.

The now widely circulated video shows the robot dog moving smoothly across the lawn without changing pace.

A US Secret Service spokesman confirmed to the New York Post that the robot dogs were part of their security apparatus. “Protecting the president-elect is our top priority,” the spokesman said. “Although we cannot reveal specific capabilities, the robot dogs are equipped with advanced sensors and monitoring technology to support our protective efforts.”

Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, serves as a central hub for Trump's personal and political activities. The robot dog's presence highlights the high-tech security protocols at the property, although it remains unclear how long these robot dogs have been part of the security unit.
