Premier League predictions and best bets: Arsenal get back on track with win at Chelsea | Football News

After announcing Bournemouth's victory over Manchester City, our football betting expert Jones Knows is back to provide further insight into the Premier League.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa, Saturday, 8pm – PLAY SUPER 6 HERE!

For Aston Villa, who have looked poor in their last three games, the predicted fatigue and squad depth have arrived sooner than expected. As an underdog, Unai Emery always commands respect from his teams in games like this, but if Villa bring the same level of attacking threat as we've seen recently, Liverpool could come here.

Villa seem to need a bit of a fresh start during the international break.

Arne Slot's Liverpool don't always convince in games, but they have the ability to overwhelm an opponent in a short space of time and take the game away from them. It makes sense at Sky Bet at 11/10 for Liverpool to cover their -1 handicap and win by two goals or more.

RESULT PREDICTION: 2-0

Manchester United vs Leicester, Sunday, 2pm

Leicester are packed with players capable of eliciting a yellow card from their opponents.

In the last eight games, their opponents have booked an average of three players per game and I expect that number to be at risk here.

My attention was drawn to Diogo Dalot who was carded at 4/1 on Sky Bet. He'll likely face livewire Abdul Fatawu, who has drawn 16 cards in his last 3,313 minutes of play – a healthy strike rate given that someone gets a card every 194 minutes.

Facundo Buonanotte also likes to drift to the right and nine players were penalized for fouls on the teenager in the last 2,400 minutes of play.

Paul Merson believes Ruben Amorim faces a difficult task in reviving Manchester United's season as the club currently sit 13th in the Premier League

Dalot, who plays as a makeshift left-back, has already been called up three times this season. A fourth could be on the way.

RESULT PREDICTION: 3-1

Tottenham v Ipswich, Sunday 2pm

Tottenham have conceded at least one goal in 19 of their last 20 Premier League home games, which tells you everything you need to know about their style of play.

Ipswich will have their moments if they show courage with the ball, something they were known for last season under Kieran McKenna. It is unwise to go head-to-head against Spurs as their relentless attacking streak means they have the ability to eliminate a team within 10 minutes.

However, Ipswich can add to the scoring and it always makes sense to try out some goalscoring prizes.

Omari Hutchinson has yet to really prove himself at this level, but he is bursting with talent and will perhaps relish the space afforded to Ipswich on the break. He is 5/1 to score on Sky Bet.

Dara O'Shea – 18/1 any time – has missed a few big chances for Ipswich this season and you don't need to be a football genius to know about Spurs' problems from set pieces.

RESULT PREDICTION: 4-2

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports – PLAY SUPER 6 HERE!

Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle

This Nottingham Forest team sits third in the Premier League in terms of performance – that's no coincidence when you look at the underlying data. This team is tough as hell to beat – but can they keep it up? Well, with these two center backs in Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo, they have a chance of a place in the top six. In nine games in which they started together, Forest conceded just 0.7 goals per 90.

I would be surprised if Newcastle were better and scored two or more points, so Forest in the draw no bet market at 10/11 with Sky Bet seems a tempting price to consider.

RESULT PREDICTION: 2-1

Chelsea v Arsenal, Sunday 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports – PLAY SUPER 6 HERE!

Chelsea vs Arsenal

I still think it's too early for this Chelsea team to consistently challenge those at the top who have seen and done it in the Premier League for a number of years. The Blues also have to overcome a mental block in these games.

Chelsea are winless in their last 25 games in all competitions against Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal, scoring just 16 goals in those games.

But Arsenal are not performing well at the moment, that's clear.

There were promising shots against Inter in midweek, where the expected goals were 2.32 and the game was unfortunately lost. But even for someone like me who is fighting for the title, his faith is currently being tested.

However, their threat from set pieces remains high and this is where they could win this tight game. Gabriel, who is 6/1 on Sky Bet, is of course the standout, but Mikel Merino appears to have been signed with his physicality in mind. In six seasons at Real Sociedad he took 60 head shots, an average of 0.35 per game – a good performance.

Sunday, November 10th, 4:00 p.m

Kick-off is 4:30 p.m

He has already scored a header for Arsenal this season and fired a headed shot at Inter Milan. He is overrated at 14/1 on Sky Bet to score a header.

RESULT PREDICTION: 0-1
