Giannis Antetokounmpo's frustration in the Bucks locker room is going viral

The Milwaukee Bucks fell to 2-7 after a 116-94 loss at New York on Friday night. The Knicks never trailed in the game.

Without Khris Middleton, Gary Trent Jr. was also inactive while Delon Wright did not play. Coach Doc Rivers started Andre Jackson in place of Trent. Brook Lopez was exposed by Karl-Anthony Towns throughout the night. In response to why Lopez started with Towns, Rivers shared that he doesn't want to ask too much of Giannis Antetokounmpo by pairing him with the opposing team's best offensive player.

Despite Trent's low three-point shooting percentage, the Bucks still lacked his floor presence, shooting just 23 percent from long range on the night. Sharpshooter AJ Green knocked down three of the Bucks' seven three-pointers. Additionally, Milwaukee's lack of fullbacks was noticeable as they only recorded one steal, which was attributed to Ryan Rollins.

The Knicks outscored the Bucks 18-8 on second-chance points and 21-8 on the fast break. Additionally, New York outscored Milwaukee 21-10 in turnovers, as the Bucks only forced seven turnovers in the game.

After the game, a frustrated Antetokounmpo could be seen berating someone off camera: “Hey man, if you don't want to be here, you can leave.”

Eric Nehm of The Athletic said: “This comment was directed at a New York media representative.”

While this comment wasn't directed at a teammate or coach, it's clear that Antetokounmpo is becoming increasingly frustrated with each defeat. The Greek Freak finished the night with 24 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and two blocks on 11 of 21 shooting. Unfortunately, Antetokounmpo only converted two of his six free throw attempts.

It's an encouraging sign that Rivers is trying out new rotations, although his hand may have been forced by the injuries to Trent and Middleton. Additionally, he played roles like Rollins, Green and Jackson against an experienced guard in Wright. However, Bobby Portis was largely ineffective against the Knicks, shooting 1 of 8 from the field. After the game, Rivers remained confident in his ability to move forward. What's concerning is that the Bucks' next game is Sunday afternoon against the defending champion Boston Celtics.
