WB I-20 slowed by 18-wheeler accident

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) – Traffic on I-20 toward Dallas is slowed following a serious accident Saturday.

According to the Elmo Fire Department, three 18-wheelers were involved in the crash in the westbound lanes of the highway and may have also affected the eastbound side. The incident occurred at mile marker 512 near Terrell.

A later update from the department said traffic was moving on the shoulder of the west side of the highway.

Travelers from East Texas heading to Dallas can expect delays as the scene of the accident is cleared.
