FC Cincinnati lost to NYCFC 6-5 in PKs and lost the chance of the MLS semi-finals

CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati was defeated by New York City FC 6-5 in a penalty shootout at the TQL Stadium and lost their ticket to the semi-finals.

FC Cincinnati and NYCFC were tied 1-1 in the best-of-three playoffs heading into Saturday's game before losing to the New York team on penalties in overtime.

NYCFC faces the New York Red Bulls as the MLS Cup heads to the semifinals.
