COLLEGE PARK, Md – Under Armor's original school, the University of Maryland, will play for Saturday's road game at No. 1 Oregon debuts exclusive special edition uniforms at Autzen Stadium. Maryland has been a leader in revolutionary, cutting-edge uniforms since partnering with Under Armor in the early 2000s. The relationship began with UA founder and CEO Kevin Plank playing football, serving as a special teams captain for the Terrapins and graduating from the university in 1996.

These state-of-the-art uniforms feature an ice white base with iridescent numbers and Script Terps on all-white helmets. Players will wear matching footwear and gloves made from the iridescent mix, with a shell pattern incorporated into each accessory.

Maryland and Under Armor continue to challenge industry standards by using unconventional inspiration and materials. The numerals and markings, with a nod to historic uniforms, create a unique interpretation of the school colors using iridescent colors that are exclusive to the university. The iridescence contains a continuous mix of gold and red.

The uniform's fabrics feature black and white throughout to create a minimalist, stark white silhouette. Maryland's four-quadrant flag has been redesigned and proportioned to create a sophisticated expression of Maryland Football's brand identity.

Maryland will be the first university to introduce Under Armour's newest cleat models: UA Blur Pro, UA Spotlight Pro and UA Spotlight Pro Mid. These boots will feature a flooded red base with the same dynamic color changing effect seen on the kits. All models feature a tonal Terrapin print on the upper in homage to the university's nickname.

The gloves worn by the Terps are washed red and feature the same dynamic, color-changing TPU UA logo reminiscent of the uniforms. All models have the color-coordinated Terrapin print.
