Jalen Milroe owns property in Death Valley after dominating Baton Rouge.

Alabama got into the game from the jump as Milroe scored a 39-yard score on their first drive of the night. After allowing a field goal, it was Judge Haynes who pushed through a huddle for a one-yard touchdown. The Tigers only added one more field goal before halftime, but Milroe found the end zone again and took a 21-6 lead into the locker room.

LSU's first drive of the second half was almost flawless as they got to the opponent's five-yard line – but Garrett Nussmeier threw a costly interception in the end zone and the Crimson Tide didn't miss the opportunity. An LSU facemask penalty helped Bama even more than it already had, and Milroe eventually scored a 19-yard touchdown to increase the lead to 28-6.

After forcing a punt, Bama got the ball back early in the fourth quarter, and here came Milroe's biggest hit. He found some holes and launched a 72-yard touchdown, giving the Crimson Tide a 35-6 lead.

To top it all off, the Alabama defense didn't allow a touchdown until just 11 seconds into the game.

Overall, Milroe ran for 185 yards on 12 carries – 33% of his runs reached the end zone.

The loss is a bitter blow for LSU, which entered the game ranked 15th nationally. So they're going to need a lot of help right now to even start thinking about the College Football Playoff.

Bama, meanwhile, has now won two in a row after losing two of the previous three – they had even blown a 28-point lead against Georgia before that losing streak, and the cheating alert was on.

However, Saturday's dominance against their longtime SEC rival was a good reminder that they won't get off lightly. – With losses to No. 3 Georgia and No. 4 Miami, they should find themselves in the top 10 in next week's rankings.
