What the rest of the world sees as a sex tape scandal is in fact the latest episode in a real-life drama about who will be Equatorial Guinea's next president.

In the last two weeks, they have leaked dozens of videos – our estimates range from 150 to over 400 – of a high-ranking official working for his office and elsewhere with various women.

The videos are circulating on social media, shocking and arousing some people's sexual interest in the small Central African countries and beyond.

Many of the women interested in the video are Pipo's wives and relatives who are close to the center of power.

It's like some of them say that they say that's how they feel when they have sex. Baltasar Ebang Engonga, we are also known as “Bello” because I am well.

All of this is difficult to verify because Equatorial Guinea does not have a highly restricted society with a free press at all.

But one theory is that the leaks are a way to discredit the man at the center of the storm.

Mr Engonga is the nephew of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema and one of them. They hope to replace him.

He is the world's longest-serving president, having held power since 1979.

The 82-year-olds are not overseeing an economic recovery that they are not abandoning to destroy oil reserves before they go down.

There is a shopping center, an extremely wealthy elite, but many of the 1.7 million residents live in poverty.

According to a U.S. government report, the Obiang government has been heavily criticized for its human rights abuses, including secret killings and torture.

There are also a number of scandals – including revelations about the lavish lifestyle of one of the president's sons, who is now vice president.

I'm going to get a $275,000 (£210,000) crystal-encrusted glove that Michael Jackson wears.

Despite regular elections, there is no real opposition in Equatorial Guinea, with activists imprisoned and some going into exile.

Politics is primarily about palace interests and Mr Engonga's involvement in the scandal.

I am the former head of the National Financial Investigation Agency and work to combat crimes such as money laundering.

But I could happen to say that she is also under investigation.

I was arrested on October 25th and accused of withdrawing a large sum of money from the treasury and depositing it into secret Cayman Islands accounts. I won't say anything about the accusation.

They could send Mr Engonga to the notorious Black Beach prison for the capital Malabo, where they claim they will brutalize opponents of the law.

They confiscated their phones and computers and a few days later intimate videos surfaced online.

The BBC's first notice was on Facebook and October 28 on the page of Diario Rombe, a news site with a journalist exiled to Spain, saying: “Social networks are exploding with the spread of explicit content.” Images and videos “.

A post on X di Next Day referred to a “monumental scandal that would rock the regime” as “pornographic videos flood social media.”

However, I believe that the videos originally appeared individually on Telegram a few days earlier, for one of the platform channels known for publishing pornographic images.

Pipo downloads for Dia phones can start sharing among Equatorial Guinea WhatsApp groups resulting in Beta Kasala.

They quickly identified Mr. Engonga and some of the women in the videos, including relatives of the president and wives of ministers and senior military officials.

On October 30, Vice President Teodoro Obiang Mangue (with a request to get Michael Jackson's glove) gave telecommunications companies 24 hours to find ways to stop the distribution of clips.

“We can’t continue to watch families fall apart without taking action,” I write on X.

“In the meantime, they are investigating the origins of these publications to find Pipo or groups of Pipo to hold them responsible for their actions.”

Since the computer equipment ends up in the hands of the security forces, suspicion falls on no reason as they find a way to ruin Mr Engonga's reputation before a trial.

Police are calling on women to come forward and file a case against Mr Engonga for non-consensual sharing of intimate images. One has already announced that she will sue me.

It is not clear to us why Mr. Engonga experienced the moments where they do kerewa (sex).

But activists do not cite suitable motives for the explosive leak.

Although I am related to the President, Mr. Engonga, the son of Baltasar Engonga Edjo'o, the head of the Regional Economic and Monetary Union, Cemac, and I am very influential in the country.

“We are seeing the end of an era, the end of the current president and wondering who will succeed him and the internal struggles we see,” said Equatoguine activist Nsang Christia Esimi Cruz. We live for London now

When I went to watch the BBC Focus on Africa podcast, I said that Vice President Obiang would try to politically eliminate “anyone who would challenge his succession.”

They suspect that the vice president, along with my mother, is trying to push aside anyone who threatens their path to the presidency, including Gabriel Obiang Lima (President Obiang's second son from another woman), who is a former oil minister since I have been Responsible for moving to a supporting role for 10 years.

They believed that the Pipo would be an elite, they knew something about every opportunity they did not make public, and they had no history of using videos to humiliate and discredit a political opponent.

Many frequent allegations of coup plots make Pipo even more worried.

But Mr. Cruz also claims that authorities wanted to use the scandal as an excuse to crack down on social media. He was aware of how much information about us would actually become public.

In July, authorities temporarily suspended internet scandal protests for an island of Annobón.

For him, the fact that a high-ranking official is having sex outside of marriage is no surprise as they are part of the rich Pipo for Di Kontri's pampered lifestyle.

The vice president was also convicted of corruption for France. In addition, my generous assets were confiscated for various contris to give them the impression that they are a man they are against bribery and misbehavior in the household.

But despite the vice president's efforts to stop the spread of Di clips, they continue to watch.

This week I'm trying to seem like we're not making a serious decision after I called for CCTV cameras to be installed in government offices “to combat indecent and illegal acts,” as the official news agency reports.

I say that the scandal is not intended to “spoil the image of the account” and I tell them that they will suspend all officials if they find that they are engaging in sexual acts for professional reasons, or let's say that they are is a “flagrant violation of the Code of Conduct”.

I'm not wrong when I say that the story doesn't attract much outside interest.

Judging by the data Google receives, searches on this topic have skyrocketed since the beginning of this week.

On Monday, on

We don't leave some activists behind and try to tell the world about it, but they are really frustrated.

“Equatorial Guinea is having much bigger problems than this sex scandal,” said Mr. Cruz, who works for a human rights organization called GE Nuestra.

“For us, this sex scandal is just a symptom of the disease, not the disease itself.” “It just shows how corrupt our system can be.”
