Pink goes well with green, and it looks even better in two versions.

Cynthia Erivo And Ariana Grande fully embodied their respective ideas Evil Characters, Elphaba and Galinda/Glinda, when it came to dressing for the Los Angeles premiere of the film musical on Saturday, November 9th.

Grande, 31, stunned in a custom tea-length pink gingham dress by Thom Browne with a matching shrug and scrunchie. Of course, the gingham fabric is a subtle nod to this Wizard of Oz and Dorothy's famous blue dress. She accessorized her look with pearl earrings, silk gloves and sparkly silver shoes.

For her part, Erivo, 37, made a stunning statement in a fitted, tailored Louis Vuitton gown with a dramatic cutout at the midsection. The British star completed her ensemble with Suzanne Kalan jewelry, including a diamond choker with an emerald pendant at the center.

Menzel, 53, opted for a black one-shoulder dress with delicate EFFY jewelry, while Chenoweth, 56, dazzled in a gold Pamella Roland minidress.

Eviladapted from Gregory Maguireis a prequel to The Wizard of Oz and tells the story of the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the North before they became bitter rivals for the attention of the great and powerful wizard. The musical and Jon M. Chu's upcoming two-parter are set as Elphaba and Galinda meet as roommates at Shiz University.

“The love story is really between the two girls. It’s about their bond,” Chenoweth said exclusively Us weekly in May. “It didn’t start out that way, the show, so Idina and I feel really blessed to have been a part of something that we could really make our mark on in the world of musical theater.”

While the new film will be a new take on the classic story, some fans believe Chenoweth and Menzel could make surprise appearances.

“[I] can neither confirm nor deny,” Chenoweth quipped Us last month. “I can do neither, but I can say that I know that I speak for Idina and me both [when I say] …we are both really happy for the girls. We can’t wait to see how they take on these characters.”

For her part, Chenoweth is particularly close to Grande, who once saw the OG production of Evil as a teenager.

Bad part 1 hits theaters November 22nd.
