Mann was arrested several times before being charged again with drug and firearms offenses

BATON POLICE – Police have arrested a man for suspected drug and firearms trafficking who had been arrested multiple times following an investigation that began in September.

Richie Brown was arrested Wednesday on multiple drug and firearms charges following an investigation that began in September. During the course of the investigation, a warrant was obtained for Brown's address on Monet Drive.

Baton Rouge Police investigators found a handgun, several bags of marijuana, 8 doses of MDMA and drug paraphernalia.

Brown was arrested on multiple drug charges and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Arrest records show Brown has been arrested several times for other drug-related offenses and robberies.
