Police arrest a Branson, Missouri, man accused of stabbing another man

BRANSON, Mo. (KY3) – A Branson man is in the Taney County Jail accused of stabbing another man.

According to police, this happened on Saturday afternoon. Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 300 block of Francis Street to a reported stabbing.

There the police found a man with multiple stab wounds. The man was taken to a Springfield hospital and was in critical condition.

Branson police said the suspect left the scene but was quickly located and arrested. The police arrested a 28-year-old man. He is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

The victim's name has not been released.
