Bills' Taron Johnson returns interception 23 yards for TD

INDIANAPOLIS – It didn't take long for the Buffalo Bills to take on the Indianapolis Colts.

After the Bills were forced to punt following a four-play drive to open the game, the defense immediately ambushed quarterback Joe Flacco. Nickel cornerback Taron Johnson picked off Flacco and returned the ball 23 yards for a touchdown.

The pass was intended for wide receiver Josh Downs, but Flacco's throw was short and Johnson easily deflected it.

It was the third pick-six of Johnson's career (including playoffs) and the team's second interception return for a touchdown this season, matching his 2023 total.

The Bills blitzed on two Flacco dropbacks, and both resulted in interceptions. The Bills only had one interception on a blitz early in the season.

This is Flacco's 40th career game with multiple interceptions, the second most among active players (Matthew Stafford is first with 44).
