A teenage driver is killed in a motorcycle accident

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A man is dead after a truck crashed into his motorcycle.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at the intersection of North Cattleman Road. and University Parkway.

Troopers also say the truck struck the motorcycle while attempting to turn left from North Cattleman Road onto University Parkway.

The 18-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
