NFL results, live updates: The Eagles face the Cowboys, the Cardinals host the Jets in the classic NFC East rivalry

The Dallas Cowboys are reeling. They rank 27th in total defense and middle of the pack in total offense, and that's unlikely to get any better with Dak Prescott potentially out this year with a hamstring injury and Cooper Rush starting in his place. All this turmoil seems like the worst possible time (if you're a Cowboys fan) or perhaps the best possible time (if you're an Eagles fan) to visit the hated Philadelphia rivals.

The Eagles start almost silently at 6:2, led in part by Saquon Barkley. He can't seem to stop delivering ridiculous highlights and is on pace for more than 1,900 rushing yards and well over 2,300 scrimmage yards. While those lofty heights are still to be determined, he managed to total 199 yards and two touchdowns. Oh, and Jalen Hurts is second in the NFL in rushing touchdowns and is among the leaders in passer rating.

Elsewhere in the late window, the Los Angeles Chargers host the Tennessee Titans and the Arizona Cardinals host the New York Jets.

(Bye: Browns, Packers, Raiders, Seahawks)

Live9 updates

  • This is one of the problems with a new quarterback-center combination

After this botched snap and loss of the ball, the Eagles take the lead with excellent field position.

  • James Conner's fantasy managers have no fear

Wasn't it nice of Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing to call that play when you start COnner this week after the touchdown was overturned?

  • The Cowboys go three-and-out on their first drive

Cooper Rush's first start since 2022 didn't get off to a good start. He went 2-for-3 in the first series, but the Cowboys didn't move the chains. Rush comes to the 3-5 Cowboys for Dak Prescott, who will miss the rest of the year with a hamstring injury. Dallas has Micah Parsons back from an ankle injury for today's game,

  • Calvin Ridley finds the end zone to give Tennessee the lead in LA

Will Levis threw a dime to Ridley for the 42-yard score.

  • Justin Herbert showed some tricks on the Chargers' first drive

The Chargers ended up going for a field goal on their first drive, but Justin Herbert made the highlight reel in the first quarter.

  • Cowboys break out red, white and blue helmet stripes

Just one day before Veterans Day, the Dallas Cowboys will wear a special helmet decal against the Eagles. The red stripe on the helmet was first used in 1976 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States and the club has added it occasionally in recent seasons. Dallas wore them last year as part of the NFL's “Salute to Service” celebration on November 12th.
