A man is accused of shooting a FedEx employee, police said

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis police have arrested and charged a man accused of shooting a FedEx employee.

On October 30, Memphis Airport Police responded to a shooting call at the FedEx World Hub on Democrat Road.

When police arrived, they discovered a male victim who had been shot multiple times in the chest and arm; The victim, still lucid, told police that he drove to that location to get help.

According to the affidavit, officers reviewed surveillance footage and saw three suspects breaking into the victim's car.

According to MPD, the suspects were known to the victim because they worked in the same area as you.

The suspect was later identified as Tyreese Earnest.

Earnest was taken into police custody and is now charged with second-degree murder, use of a firearm, reckless endangerment and vandalism.
