The Cardinals are 6-4 this season, pushing Aaron Rodgers and the Jets to 3-7

Kyler Murray was nearly perfect, completing 22 of 24 passes for 266 yards and a touchdown. Murray also ran for two scores.

This was the third straight home game in which Arizona did not allow any touchdowns.

James Conner rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes for 80 yards.

Marvin Harrison Jr. had five receptions for 54 yards and a score as the Cardinals outgained the Jets by 406 yards to 207.

The Jets took the second-half kickoff and drove to the Cardinals' 3-yard line, but edge rusher Xavier Thomas forced a strip sack from Aaron Rodgers, Kyzir White recovered the fumble and Arizona led an 88-yard drive for one touchdown by .

Kyler Murray's second rushing score of the game, this time on a 12-yard sprinter to his right, extended the Cardinals' lead to 31-6. They have now scored on all five possessions – four of them touchdowns.

Murray completed all three of his passes for 41 yards during the drive, including a 19-yarder to running back Trey Benson and a 12-yarder to tight end Trey McBride.

Score: Cardinals 31, Jets 6 (4:31 remaining in third quarter)

We have now reached the end of the third part.

Chad Ryland kicked a 37-yard field as the first half expired and the Cardinals extended their lead over the Jets by scoring four times on all four possessions.

Kyler Murray completed all four of his passes for 29 yards during the 10-play, 49-yard drive and is now 17 of 19 for 199 yards with a touchdown, no interceptions and a sack.

The Jets' Aaron Rodgers is just 7 of 11 for 40 yards, with no touchdowns, no interceptions and with one sack.

The Cardinals lead 239-85 total yards and 18-8 on first downs.

Arizona only ran for 47 yards, but James Conner caught four passes for 47 yards. The Jets' two receivers combined for just two receptions for 18 yards. Garrett Wilson has two catches for 18 yards and Davante Adams has no catches on two targets.

Three possessions, three TDs for Cardinals

The Cardinals' offense couldn't be better than it has been against the visiting Jets.

After Kyler Murray's 9-yard fade pass and Marvin Harrison Jr.'s over-the-shoulder catch in the corner of the end zone, Arizona has now scored on all three possessions of the game and all three drives have traveled 70 yards.

Murray completed all seven of his passes during that TD drive for a total of 71 yards and is now 13 of 15 for a total of 170 yards.

During the five-minute, 53-second drive, he completed four passes of 10 or more yards – a 17-yarder to Trey McBride, who beat a would-be defender for the third straight game, an 11-yarder to tight end Elijah Higgins, and a 13 -Yarder for McBride. The Cardinals offensive line gave Murray plenty of time on this pass, and Murray remained calm and determined after his checkdowns.

Meanwhile, the TD pass to Harrison was placed in the absolute perfect position for the rookie to grab the ball while cornerback DJ Reed closely shadowed him.

However, there was a brief scare during the drive when Murray was sacked for a 7-yard loss. Linebacker Quincy Williams came in from Murray's blindside and knocked the quarterback off his feet. The hit also caused Murray's helmet to fly off his head and land several feet away.

However, Murray escaped unhurt.

Score: Cardinals 21, Jets 6 (4:09 remaining in second quarter)

Cardinals force a second field goal

On their second possession, the Jets almost entered the red zone, but once again they were thwarted by a tenacious Cardinals defense.

After driving 43 yards in 11 plays, the Jets and Aaron Rodgers faced a third-and-six situation at the Arizona 27-yard line. Pressured by a confusing D-line setup, Rodgers looked for wide receiver Garrett Wilson, but his pass fell short.

New York again had to settle for another field goal from Spencer Shrader, this one from 45 yards.

Score: Cardinals 14, Jets 6 (11:39 left in second quarter)

Kyler Murray runs for TD

Two possessions, two 70-yard touchdown drives by the Cardinals.

This time it took nine plays without a pass interference penalty against the Jets, and Arizona capped the drive with a 1-yard bootleg run by Kyler Murray. With maximum coverage at the front of the goal line, Murray faked a handoff, rolled to his rig and saw nothing but daylight as he strolled effortlessly into the end zone.

Murray completed two passes during the drive, a 17-yarder to Marvin Harrison Jr. and an 18-yarder to tight end Trey McBride.

By the way, the Cardinals are now a perfect 15 out of 15 in goal-to-goal situations – tops in the league.

Score: Cardinals 14, Jets 3 (2:34 left in the first quarter)

End of the first.

Jets respond with a FG

The Jets also scored on their first possession, but the Cardinals kept them out of the end zone on third-and-six from the Arizona 7-yard line thanks to a nice pass rush and strong coverage in the secondary.

Aaron Rodgers had five receivers in the game, but he was forced out of the pocket, slid to his right and was forced to throw the ball away to avoid a sack.

New York settled for a 25-yard field goal from Spencer Shrader after he went 63 yards on 11 plays.

Score: Cardinals 7, Jets 3 (7:48 left in the first quarter)

The Cardinals strike first on Conner TD

It didn't take long for the Cardinals to find the end zone.

Arizona took over on the first possession and drove 70 yards in six plays, which was scored by a 1-yard run for a touchdown by James Conner.

Quarterback Kyler Murray attempted a deep pass to Michael Wilson to open the series, which went too fair, but then Murray rolled right on a play-action call and found Marvin Harrison Jr. for an 18-yard gain.

After a 7-yard run by Conner, the big play came via a short dump screen from Murray to Conner, who ran 44 yards and avoided two tackles. The play was originally ruled a 45-yard touchdown catch-and-run, but according to referee John Hussey, “the runner's butt check was incorrect” at the 1-foot line just shy of the end zone.

Two plays later, Conner ran untouched for the score and Chad Ryand scored the extra point.

Score: Cardinals 7, Jets 0 (12:58 left in the first quarter)

Jalen Thompson inactive for the Cardinals

After appearing on the injury report Thursday with an ankle issue and not practicing at all Friday, Cardinals safety Jalen Thompson was among the inactive players for Sunday's game against the Jets.

He was listed as questionable.

Look for rookie safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson to get more offense with the defense due to Thompson's injury. Nickel corner Garrett Williams could also be moved and offer some help on the back end along with veteran Budda Baker.

For more security, Arizona signed defender Divaad Wilson from the practice squad.

Also inactive for Arizona are rookie defensive lineman Darius Robinson (calf), linebacker Julian Okwara, tight end Travis Vokolek, offensive lineman Christian Jones and receiver Xavier Weaver.
