Kyler Murray is beaming as the Cardinals beat the Jets for their fourth win in a row

The Cardinals entered Week 10 in first place in the NFC West and will be in the same spot at the end of the week.

Kyler Murray ran for two touchdowns, threw for another and set a franchise record by completing 17 consecutive passes in Sunday's win over the Jets. The 31-6 loss is the fourth straight win for Arizona and they enter the bye week with a record of 6-4.

Murray led the Cardinals to points on their first five possessions of the game and the Cardinals amassed 406 yards of offense against a Jets defense that had no answer for their passing game. Murray was 22 of 24 for 266 yards over the course of his afternoon – Clayton Tune got some garbage time – and spent the day overwhelming James Conner, Marvin Harrison Jr. and tight end Trey McBride with great success.

The Cardinals return to action in Week 12 with the first of two games against the Seahawks in three weeks. They already have wins over the Rams and 49ers, so a win over the Seahawks would put them in a strong position as they work towards their first NFC West title since 2015.

Murray completed his final 17 passes, allowing that run to continue against Seattle.

Because of Aaron Rodgers' presence at quarterback, a lot of attention has been focused on the Jets' offensive deficiencies this season, and it was deserved. It also dwarfs a defense that hasn't performed anywhere near the level of previous seasons, and Sunday's game at Arizona was the worst performance they've put on the field to date. The poor tackling, invisible pass rush and loose coverage made it far too easy for the Cardinals and future Jets opponents to employ similar strategies to expose the Jets' weaknesses.

Rodgers and the offense weren't much better. After two early field goals, the Jets never scored again and they continue to look like a group that is on separate sides far too often. There are no more trades, signings or releases the team can make to solve the problems on both sides of the ball, and it feels like it will be a long few months before the 3-7 -Team shows off its strengths.

That process will begin next Sunday against the Colts. This game was originally scheduled for Sunday night and no one will regret the decision to keep the Jets away from television sets as much as possible.
