Jake Bates from the Lions: Perfect in bad weather

Bates made his only field goal attempt and converted all three of his extra point attempts in Sunday's 24-14 win over the Packers.

Bates attempted just one field goal for the third straight game, hitting a 27-yarder in the second quarter. With swirling winds and rain during Sunday's competition in Green Bay, it was a challenging day for a kicker. Bates has now made 12 of 12 field goals and made 30 of 31 PATs in 2024.
