I-65 South is reopening after an accident involving a truck carrying a RV and causing traffic to stop

SUMNER CO., Tenn. (WSMV) – According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), I-65 South has been closed following an accident involving a truck transporting an RV.

The accident occurred around 6 p.m. at mile marker 103 near Bethel Road when a pickup truck carrying an RV overturned, blocking both lanes.

Officers were on scene around 6:15 p.m. The road was reopened about two hours later.

Smokey Barn News reported that there were no life-threatening injuries in this incident.
