Man arrested after two people were found dead in a home near Flagstaff

A suspect has been arrested after two people were found dead in a home north of Flagstaff on Wednesday.

The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. on Oct. 23 on Stardust Trail in Doney Park.

The Coconino County According to the sheriff's office, officers responded to the home after receiving a report that multiple people had been stabbed.

At the scene, CCSO said they found a man outside with stab wounds. He was transported to a Flagstaff hospital. His current condition is unknown.

The officers then went into the house and found another man and two dead people. The victims were not identified.

“After further investigation, the male inside the home was identified as a suspect and arrested,” CCSO said. “There are currently no known specific threats to public safety.”

The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Menalek Anthony Dressler of California. Dressler was booked into jail and is charged with two counts of second-degree murder murder and serious bodily harm.
