AP Top 25: Georgia and Miami fall out of the top 10 after losses in Week 11

Georgia fell out of the top 10 after losing to Ole Miss on Saturday.

The Bulldogs are now ranked No. 11 in the AP Top 25 after losing 28-10. Georgia dropped nine spots from No. 2 and is one spot ahead of Miami after the Hurricanes lost on the road to Georgia Tech. Miami fell eight spots from No. 4 to No. 12.

Oregon remained at No. 1 after beating Maryland at home. Ohio State moved up one spot to No. 2, Texas moved up two spots to No. 3 and Penn State also moved up two spots to No. 4. Indiana rounds out the top five after moving up three spots following a 20-15 win at home against Michigan.

Tennessee, BYU, Notre Dame, Alabama and Ole Miss round out the top 10. The Cougars remained undefeated with an impressive 22-21 road win over Utah late Saturday night after Utah called a controversial defensive holding penalty on BYU's winning run.

However, Georgia may not stay outside the top 10 for long. The Bulldogs host Tennessee in the biggest game of Week 12. The Vols beat Mississippi State at home on Saturday despite QB Nico Iamaleava missing the second half with an upper-body injury. After the game, coach Josh Heupel said Iamaleava's absence was precautionary and he should be ready to play against the Bulldogs.

There is only one more game between ranked opponents in Week 12. And it also takes place in the SEC. No. 23 South Carolina hosts No. 24 Missouri. The Gamecocks beat Vanderbilt on the road on Saturday, while Missouri beat Oklahoma 30-23 in one of the most bizarre fourth quarters you've ever seen. Each team had the green light to fumble recoveries for a TD in the final three minutes of the game.
