Driver runs red light, causing three-car accident in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A driver ran a red light, causing a three-car crash and traffic jams in Wilmington.

According to a Wilmington Police Department watch commander, the accident occurred Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Shipyard and Independence.

He said the accident was caused by a driver running a red light. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
