Viral Video: Third Grader Beaten by Black Kids; Old clip re-uploaded after Donald Trump's victory was viewed 29 million times

After Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 US election, an old video from February 2023 resurfaced online and quickly went viral. The video, which has now reached nearly 29 million views, shows a disturbing incident aboard a Florida school bus in which a 9-year-old white girl is beaten by two black boys.

This viral video has sparked widespread discussion, with many revisiting the original incident and expressing concern about school violence and safety.

The incident occurred at Coconut Palm K-8 Academy in Homestead, Florida. In the video, two boys can be seen repeatedly hitting the third-grader, who tries to defend herself but is clearly overwhelmed.

There were no adults present to intervene during the 30-second attack, and another student recorded the attack. The girl's parents were deeply shocked by the incident and decided to take legal action against the attackers.

The girl's mother told local media that school management had advised her to consider transferring her children to another school amid increasing incidents of violence on campus. She discovered that her two older children had also experienced bullying during their short time at school, and she felt that school administrators had not adequately addressed their concerns.

The victim's father took to social media to express his outrage and call for a protest outside the school. He expressed frustration over the lack of safety measures on school buses and described the bullying situation as unacceptable.

“The lack of safety is unreal and the lack of safety on the bus is ridiculous… The bullying has to stop!!!” the father wrote on Facebook.

Miami-Dade Schools Police released a statement confirming the arrest of the perpetrators. They stressed the importance of student safety and called on parents to reinforce the values of respect and restraint towards their children.

Racist texts after Donald Trump's victory

Racist text messages urging black people to “turn themselves in for slavery” sparked concern across the US shortly after Trump’s victory. The FBI has launched an investigation.

“Be prepared to be searched once you enter the plantation,” reads one of the messages sent to black people.
