Detroit Lions forward Jared Goff believes success in 2024 is “just the beginning.”

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has played at an elite level through the first half of the 2024 season.

The quarterback has entered the NFL MVP discussion with his most recent outing, setting NFL records for completion percentage over a six-game stretch and winning the NFC Offensive Player of the Month award for October.

Goff recently took part in an exclusive question and answer session with Lions OnSI to discuss his performance, the Lions' success, and a new limited edition men's bracelet designed in collaboration with Jared Jewelers to commemorate a piece of Lions -History of this season remembered.

Designed exclusively by Jared Goff, the game ball ring is handcrafted from 14-karat white gold and also includes the quarterback's signature engraved on the inside of the band. The ring is available to order starting November 7th on Jared.com or at your local Jared Jewelers location and is available by special order only. The bands retail for $999 and quantities are extremely limited.

“Detroit's 2023 season was incredible, so the opening game of 2024 meant a lot to me and my teammates,” Goff said. “When I was given the opportunity to design my own band with Jared Jewelers, I knew I wanted to personalize it with something meaningful from this season. The ball from our first win of 2024 represents so much – excitement, drive, courage – and I was able to do that. “I won't be happier with how it turned out in the ring.

They recently created a limited edition 14k white gold men's bracelet through Jared Jewelers and the Rare Bond Collection that features pieces of a game ball from this year's victory over the Rams. What was the inspiration for the design and what led to your partnership with Jared?

Jared Goff: “I wanted to create something that meant a lot to me. Putting pieces of the cue ball into the band gives the band a cool touch that comes with a special win. Jared was great to work with because they understand how to bring these ideas to life.” . It's our third collaboration this year and I'm really happy with the design and excited for people to see it. Anyone who wants a piece of this game's history for themselves can get the ring at jared.com/. Jared Goff ring.

How would you best describe the current version of the Detroit Lions?

Goff: “We have a lot of momentum at the moment and want to capitalize on it. There is real self-belief and confidence in the team and we know what we are capable of. The progress we have made is simple. “We are focused on continuing to push forward and take the next step as a group.”

Fans on social media wanted us to ask you: When you're away from football on a day off or want to relax, what do you like to do regularly away from the game?

Goff: “On days off, I like to keep things more low-key. I enjoy fishing when I can, it's a nice way to relax and get some fresh air. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, perhaps watching shows, taking our dog Quincy for walks or just relaxing at home. It's good to have that balance and take some time to recharge.

What was going through your mind as you sat at the table about to sign a longer contract extension, and what was going through your mind in the first few hours after you decided to stay with the Lions?

Goff: “I felt great gratitude. I thought about everything that led to this point and how lucky I am to be part of an organization that believes in me. Knowing that I'm going to be here for the long haul also gives me a feeling of “I'm committed to doing everything I can to help us succeed and bring a championship to Detroit. The first few hours after the signing were about enjoying the moment and reflecting on the journey so far.

Ben Johnson is clearly one of the best NFL players. How has he developed as an offensive coordinator over the last few years?

Goff: “Ben’s development as an offensive coordinator has been impressive. He understands what works for us and he is able to adapt and innovate in real time. His ability to put us in a position to be successful is tremendous and you can see how much he trusts us as players to execute.”

You can bring any three of your teammates or coaches to play 18 holes. Who gets the invitation and who rides in the shopping cart?

Goff: “Graham Glasgow, Kevin Zeitler and Frank Ragnow. Whoever rides in the car with me better have a good game…I'm not trying to spend all day tracking down wild shots.”
