International food tasting on November 3rd to fight hunger

CEDAR FALLS – The 10th Annual International Food Tasting will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 705 Main St., Nov. 3 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The all-you-can-eat event costs $30 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under.

Proceeds benefit the Northeast Iowa Food Bank Backpack Program, which provides children with healthy, easy-to-prepare meals and snacks to eat at home.

Attendees can experience foods from around the world, including India, Pakistan, Bosnia, the Philippines, Iran, Croatia, Ukraine and more.

The Cedar Valley Indian Association and more than 7,000 healthcare workers are coming together to combat food insecurity and hunger in the Cedar Valley during the annual food drive Nov. 4-22.

Donations can be dropped off at the front desk of Cedar Valley Medical Specialists, Black Hawk County Public Health, MercyOne Northeast Iowa Medical Center, Unity Point Health-Waterloo and Peoples Community Health Clinic.
