Proceedings in the Delphi double murder trial begin on the fourth day

Jury deliberations in the Delphi double murder trial continue Monday morning.

This is the fourth day of deliberations.

The panel worked all day on Friday and Saturday without reaching a verdict.

Jurors want to decide whether the state can prove that Richard Allen murdered teenagers Abby Williams and Libby German in 2017.

The men and women of the panel reviewed the testimony of nearly 60 witnesses and more than 200 pieces of evidence.

The entire consultations have so far lasted around 14 hours.

Allen faces two counts of murder and two additional counts of murder resulting from the commission or attempted kidnapping in the killings.

If convicted on all charges, he could face up to 130 years in prison.
