Four arrested after traffic stop | Vincennes PBS

One of four people arrested Friday as part of a drug investigation in Knox County remained in jail this morning.

It was November 9th at 11:39 p.m. when illegal drugs were discovered during a traffic stop in Vincennes.

The stop was on North 6h Street for an equipment violation on a 1998 Chevy truck.

A K-9 unit was called to the scene and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana and prescription medications.

The driver, 29-year-old Keith McIntosh, and the passengers, 40-year-old Peggy Baker, 31-year-old Lea Chambers and 25-year-old Jonathan Rosemanwere arrested. All four face methamphetamine possession charges. McIntosh was also charged with perpetrating a common nuisance, while the others were charged with perpetrating a common nuisance and drug offenses.

As of this morning, Chambers was still jailed on a $5,000 bond.

The other three were released on bail.
