Viral Video: Woman Plays with 4 Rescued Lion Cubs; Internet users pay undivided attention

A heartwarming video of British conservationist Freya Aspinall cuddling four rescued lion cubs has taken over the internet. In the footage, which has gone viral since it was posted online, Freya Aspinall is surrounded by four lion cubs who cuddle up to her like pets.
How they got to Aspinall is a heartbreaking story. She explained that these cubs were rescued when they were just hours away from being euthanized and that she took on the responsibility of raising and caring for them with all her might. While several netizens praised her for her dedication to saving the boys, some expressed concern about her close contact with wild animals.
Aspinall eventually plans to give them an independent life in Africa, but for now she's busy playing mommy to these sweet little creatures.
“How I sleep at night (no pets)…A few months ago we rescued four young lions who were just hours away from being euthanized. They were born in captivity to someone who exploits animals for profit, and someone cared about them. We were able to intervene immediately and save them. This included us sleeping with them and caring for them like a mother when they were taken to Africa, where “They truly belong, just like we did with other lions we rescued and hand-raised before. Hand-winding is always the last resort, but in this case it was the only way to save her life,” reads her caption shared along with the video.

Aspinall explained that the four cubs were born to a lion bred in a circus and that she agreed to hand-raise them as it was the only option available at the moment. She added that her hope and plan is to send them to Africa where they truly belong.

A heavenly feeling!

Several netizens expressed that they were more jealous of Freya Aspinall and praised her for being a living angel and providing a home for the beautiful creatures. One commenter even described it as “heaven” for Freya Aspinall.
Some comments also praised her courage. However, many had concerns about raising wild animals with people rather than in their natural habitat. One comment said: “While it is adorable to see these cubs rescued, this is not the way to rehabilitate wild animals. They should learn to hunt and not be treated like pets.”
This is not the first time that Freya Aspinall has worked with rescued baby animals. Over the years, she and her father have done remarkable work in animal rescue, ensuring that animals return to their natural habitat after long-term breeding.
