Steven Alker wins another Charles Schwab Cup, while 67-year-old Bernhard Langer takes the victory

Alker, who finished with a 5-under 66, missed from 8 feet on No. 18 to force additional holes. His tie for second place (with Australian Richard Green) was enough to overtake Ernie Els and capture the season-long leader Charles Schwab in the Cup points race. Alker won the cup for the second time in three years and received a million dollar bonus for his efforts. So on Sunday Alker had the opportunity to raise his arms in triumph as he left the final green, but the final round, the final day, belonged to Langer, who emerged victorious for the 47th time at 67 years, 2 months and 14 days a senior golfer, a Champions Tour record.
