State Police Calls: 91-Year-Old Man Charged with Harassment; Police are investigating drunk driving, check fraud and drug possession

FOREST/CLARION/JEFFERSON CO., Pennsylvania (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Officer Davenport arrested a 39-year-old Marienville man on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after he crashed his 2012 Honda in the 200 block of North Forest Street in Jenks Township, Forest County, at 12:38 p.m. on November 6 , had stopped.

The investigation is ongoing.

Check the fraud report as unfounded

Trooper Cyphert investigated a report of fraudulent stops involving a sports club in Tionesta at 8:10 a.m. November 4 on Wolfs Corner Road in Washington Township, Clarion County.

Further investigation revealed that there was no crime.

Drug offenses following a traffic stop

Trooper Cyphert charged a 46-year-old woman from Langeloth, Pennsylvania, with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after she stopped a 2011 Nissan Altima on Route 66 in Jenks Township, Forest County at 11:19 a.m. on November 6 had.

The investigation is ongoing.

Harassment charges filed

Officer Davenport filed a harassment complaint through District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak against a 91-year-old Clarington man after responding to a complaint from a 58-year-old Warren woman on Wayside Forest Lane at 8:08 p.m. on Oct. 28 had Barnett Township, Jefferson County.

Couple involved in harassment

Trooper Vantine is investigating a harassment and physical contact incident involving a 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both from Tionesta, on November 7th at 1:56 p.m. on Mealy Lane in Washington Township, Clarion County, was reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
