Delta Alaska flights

Atlanta-Anchorage route

Starting May 22, Delta will upgrade its Atlanta (ATL) to Anchorage (ANC) route to a larger aircraft, replacing the Boeing 757-200 with the Boeing 767-300ER.

This change allows for increased passenger capacity and improved comfort for travelers flying directly from Delta's Atlanta hub to Alaska's largest city.

Salt Lake City-Fairbanks returns

Delta is also reintroducing service from Salt Lake City (SLC) to Fairbanks (FAI) next summer.

This route, closed for several years, will reconnect Salt Lake City to Fairbanks, providing an additional option for travelers looking to explore Alaska's interior.

Fairbanks, known for its wilderness, wildlife and access to the Northern Lights, is a popular destination for adventurous travelers, and Delta's renewed service aims to support the region's tourism industry.

From Detroit to Anchorage

In addition to the route expansion to Atlanta and Salt Lake City service, Delta will increase the frequency of its flights from Detroit (DTW) to Anchorage (ANC) from three times per week to daily.

This seven-times-weekly frequency accommodates the growing number of travelers from the Midwest to Alaska and provides greater flexibility for those seeking outdoor adventures and sightseeing opportunities in Alaska.
