Jared Ellner, stylist to the stars, launches his eponymous brand

Jared Ellner is a name you may already know: He's the super stylist behind some of the biggest names in music and fashion, dressing clients like Sabrina Carpenter, Rachel Sennott, Molly Gordon and Camila Cabello, as well as the queen of the internet and Instagram a. friendly coffee, Emma Chamberlain. But before he started collecting It girls like Pokémon cards, he briefly worked as a designer, as he tells NYLON exclusively: “I've been designing for as long as I can remember and have always dreamed of having my own eponymous label. Before becoming a stylist, I hand-made knitwear and designed capsule collections from scratch as a student. It's always been my goal to get back to design.” In a Hollywood story moment, everything comes full circle: Ellner returns to his roots with his eponymous label, Jared Ellner, with Chamberlain starring as his first muse and nothing as carrying his handbags and a pair of shoes.

Ellner has been incredibly busy this year, but somehow he had time to dream up the romantic fringe bag collection, which he says was originally inspired by “a box of vintage ribbons found near my studio in downtown Los Angeles was inspired.” I started dreaming about a handbag that looked like it was wrapped in these ribbons, and the collection unfolded from there. This collection is a tribute to my love of all things romantic, delicate and feminine.” The ready-to-wear collection is a modern mix of Marie Antoinette and Paris Hilton, with decadent satins in checkerboard miniskirts and crinkled strappy corsets that are very suitable for the party set.

Chamberlain and Ellner's relationship has evolved since their earliest work (their first shoot was for…). garage in 2020) has become one of the most impressive stylist/star duos in the industry, with Chamberlain regularly landing on best-dressed lists and continuing to wow even this jaded fashion journalist. She was thrilled to be part of Ellner's new project, as she tells NYLON: “Jared has been my stylist for many years and truly my fashion soulmate. The creative bond we share is very special. Being part of his first launch is more than an honor and the collection couldn't be a better representation of him as a designer. The beautiful textiles and unique silhouettes showcase Jared's magic. I’m so excited to wear it all!”

This sexy campaign is both a natural next step for the creative duo and a step in a bold new direction, considering Ellner has never launched a line before — and Chamberlain has never worn so little. The initial launch includes handbags, tops and skirts ranging in price from $450 to $1,050 and is available exclusively through jaredellner.com and Jared's Socials.
