Ex-WWE star offered fight with Mike Tyson – TJR Wrestling

Mike Tyson is no stranger to the world of wrestling.

Over the years, Mike Tyson has made it no secret that he loves pro wrestling, appearing for both WWE and AEW. Incredibly, he almost had another connection to the square circle.

Back in August, Bobby Lashley let his WWE contract expire after turning down an offer to stay. While the star keeps his cards close to his chest, he is closely linked to AEW and is fielding offers from the boxing world as well as MMA companies.

However, it has been widely reported that Lashley has already become All Elite and will make his debut in the coming weeks. In his debut, Lashley is expected to team with MVP and Shelton Benjamin as part of the Hurt Syndicate.

But still, he somehow ended up on Mike Tyson's radar.

Bobby Lashley would fight Mike Tyson

During a contract signing at K&S WrestleFest, Lashley revealed that he was offered a fight with Tyson “a few months ago.” Although there appeared to be no agreement at the time, Lashley said he would be happy to take the fight.

“I was also offered a fight with Mike Tyson. A few months ago I was offered Mike Tyson. I thought, “Hmm, that would be a good fight.” People asked me the same question: “Can I beat Mike Tyson?” I'm not going to say, “Oh yeah, I can beat Mike Tyson,” but I would take the fight like to lead. That's what it's all about for me. As a competitor, as a fighter, I will take on any fight that comes my way. If it makes sense, I will do it,”

Since leaving WWE, Lashley has claimed that he has agreed to make his boxing debut against an unnamed opponent. Meanwhile, Tyson will face Jake Paul on November 15, and although the star is now in his late 50s, the bout will be a sanctioned professional bout.
