CANYONVILLE WOMAN DETAILED DUE TO INCIDENT DEVELOPMENT – KQEN News Radio

November 12th, 4:00 p.m

A Canyonville woman was jailed after a sting incident Sunday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said an officer saw the woman driving a sedan northbound on Interstate 5 near Canyon Creek at 3 p.m. The deputy attempted to catch up to the vehicle and allegedly observed traffic violations near the Canyonville exit. An attempt was made to make a traffic stop, but the driver fled at a low rate of speed to the 400 block of Tower Lane in Canyonville.

The driver was 53-year-old Lisa Wilson. She obeyed and was taken into custody in her driveway. It was discovered that Wilson had a warrant for his arrest and was also reportedly in possession of a small amount of heroin. She was charged with attempting to elude a police officer on a warrant and illegal possession of heroin. Wilson was held without bail.
