Suspect in 2021 Spenard murder case refuses to appear in court

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Myron Clark, 30, refused to appear in court Monday for a scheduled arraignment in a 2021 murder case.

According to court documents, a warrant for Clark's arrest was issued on Aug. 22 and served on Monday.

Police responded to a report of shots fired on Cheechako Street – between West 31st and 32nd Avenue – in the early morning of November 26, 2021, and upon arrival found Briseno dead and another man at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries before. threatened injuries.

Herndon and Otero were charged with one count of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder and three counts of third-degree assault.

Clark is charged with two counts of assault, two counts of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree murder, two counts of assault, drunken driving and theft of a vehicle.

Clark refused to appear in court Monday. His arraignment was postponed until Tuesday.
