Danbury police searching for driver after moped accident

DANBURY, Conn. (WFSB) – Police are searching for the driver involved in a moped accident on November 2nd.

Danbury Police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a car and a moped at 8:46 p.m. on Padanaram Road.

The moped driver suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the emergency room at Danbury Hospital for treatment.

Following the accident, Padanaram Road was closed in both directions for several hours to allow the police accident investigation team to examine the scene.

The accident investigation team is seeking information about a dark-colored two-door Jeep Wrangler that may have been involved in the incident.

Additionally, police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has information about the vehicle to come forward.
