The Cavs' bench sparks a second-half revival and helps maintain a perfect record with a 119-113 win over the Bulls

CHICAGO – The Cavs are another step closer to NBA history.

Cleveland won its 12th straight game on Monday night to open the 2024-25 season. In the second half, Cleveland battled the strong Bulls 119-113. The Cavs are just the eighth team ever to start 12-0. The NBA record is 24 consecutive wins without a loss to open a season, set by the dynastic Golden State Warriors in the 2015-16 season – a year in which they finished 73-9.
